So our new captive is doing well so far. The Tourism Australia blogger from Canada has been having a bloody good time, so Sage tells me. The boys from Consortium have been showing this lad the best time of his life (Melbourne you have nothing on us!). The journey started up a little place called Castle Hill, which being a good Canadian guy loved every minute of. Next stop Billabong Sanctuary feeding our local pet crocs, Reef HQ to meet some crippled turtles than out to the floating rock Magnetic island where some scenes where made with the local transport- a Moke completely decked out in Hello Kitty colours? Then Cam made it back just in time to have a gourmet spread put on by the Watermark. The boys didn’t stop there and headed out for Townsville’s legendary cheap chewy at Consortium to finish the night. Rumour has it he did go somewhere else in the wee hours which had a lot of poles involve, not too sure where that was though? Maybe Sage can explain that to me?. Considering the days events I’m wondering how Cam made the early morning 3hour ferry trip to Yongala Reef for his diving adventure. Hmmm burly anyone?

Ok so in keeping with our touristy theme I found a great educational map of the Americas and also a compare and contrast map of Australia including helpfully and insightful questions and answers for any intrepid tourist thinking of visiting our lovely shores.
Enjoy Bazel
