Hey Sage here!
Initially swayed into the Consortiums first foam party (as I wasn't fully sold on the idea), I was genuinely upset when I found I'd been missing out on so much fun and mayhem all this time .... the Chaos, it was all so appealing!
The second instalment was something I'll never forget. 1800 people descended on Consortiums wicked night. Both levels were flooded with addicted peeps that made full use of all the uber class amenities like the VIP Bird Cage: Perfect for those wanting a "birds eye" view of the crazy foamers below but skipping on the suds themselves.
What I loved was the great sets the resident DJ played (pretty impressed) and the super cute Consortium T-Shirts were a clever touch.
Speaking of shirts, there was a wet T-Shirt competition with one girl taking home $200 in cash! Not long after things got really messy with girls getting up on the bar, entertaining the crowd with the post mix guns and water pistols.
I saw splits, body shots and girls going mad! I bumped into some guys from Brisbane and Sydney and they told me they didn't quite know how they were going to explain their night out to friends when they head back down south. They did tell me though (should there be another Foam Party) that they would definitely make a special trip back!
Miss Hawaiian Tropic was full of show stoppers! 8 Judges made the tough decision to pick just one special lady. With a big congratulations to Bree Elizabeth Benyon who took out the Title, she will now go on to represent Townsville at the National Final on the Gold Coast next month. Not forgetting to mention Monica Brown who placed 2nd and Melanie Bragg, 3rd. Well done girls!
